Wemanity
Back in 1987, this ex-platoon commander started coding. Little did he know he’d be spending his career in a totally different area, because he didn’t like the disconnected culture dominating the IT world.
Seven years later, Arie started consciously changing that culture: he moved away from traditional management to structured common sense and pragmatism.
Arie van Bennekum (1964) is one of 17 founding fathers of Agile, a worldwide movement responsible for the rejuvenating breeze refreshing the way software developers work. He was co-author of the Agile Manifesto.
Since 1994 Arie has lectured at various universities, is thoughtleader, transformation coach, consultant and guest speaker. He presides over the Agile Consortium and is an international thoughtleader at Wemanity.
Agile is an interaction concept that brings more value and more quality – in an earlier stage. Going Agile what most organisations strive for, but it’s not always easy. How can you be successful using Agile today? What does it take to become Agile?
